The group is led by Rubens Nogueira Filho and Caio Piza, whose complementary backgrounds combine decades of local execution knowledge with international consulting and cross-border strategic expertise.
Rubens Nogueira Filho brings over three decades of experience in the Brazilian construction sector as founder and principal of Construtora Coelho Netto, established in 1989. The company has executed projects for major institutional clients, including Caixa Econômica Federal, the Federal Government of Brazil, and Petrobras, among other public and private stakeholders. His professional trajectory has provided deep expertise in public-sector projects, regulatory compliance, technical standards, and complex construction environments.
In parallel, Rubens led the diversification of the group with the creation of Paranapanema Plásticos LTDA in 1990, focused on plastic materials and industrial applications, strengthening the group’s understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial supply chains. Beyond his entrepreneurial activities, Rubens serves as President of the Union of Civil Construction of Small and Medium Structures for the State of São Paulo, reflecting recognized leadership within the sector. His professional standing is further reinforced by his role as a court-appointed expert (Perito Judicial) for the Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de São Paulo (TJSP), evidencing acknowledged authority in technical and legal engineering matters.
Caio Piza, Vice President of the same Union, complements this foundation with a global perspective shaped by international education and cross-border professional experience. Caio plays a central role in positioning the Paranapanema Group as an international advisory platform, supporting cross-border activities both into and out of Brazil. His work spans international market development, project structuring, strategic partnerships, and the coordination of multi-jurisdictional stakeholders in construction and agribusiness. Caio’s ability to connect international companies with Brazilian opportunities — and Brazilian companies with international markets — while aligning regulatory, operational, and cultural frameworks has been instrumental in the group’s evolution as an independent, internationally oriented consultancy.
